EPA and Indoor Air Quality

The EPA names indoor air quality as one of the top five environmental risks.  EPA sources indicate we spend approximately 90 percent of our time indoors.  For many people, the risks to health may be greater indoors than outdoors.  Consider that most homes have multiple sources of pollutants that contribute to indoor air pollution.

EPA certification for wood stoves

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency sets standards for air quality–including limits on the amount of particulate matter (microscopic particles) emitted by fireplaces and stoves.
